For the Love of Students

Dr. Louise Little first encountered InterVarsity as a college student — and that encounter with God’s grace never left her. She went on to earn her doctorate, join the University of Delaware faculty as a Professor of Nutrition, and serve as Faculty Advisor to the InterVarsity chapter there. For decades, she poured herself into the same kind of campus ministry that had shaped her own faith.

Louise funded student scholarships to Urbana, chaired her church’s missions committee, corresponded with missionaries across the globe, and even led a prayer and missions trip to London in her retirement years. She was still asking for campus updates just weeks before her passing. Her commitment to students never wavered — she simply never gave up.

A Gift at Work: Jude Souazoube

Louise’s estate gift is helping fund two new staff positions at UD — including Jude Souazoube’s new position as leader of the Black Student Ministry, where he disciples students in God’s Word. Like Louise herself, Jude is at the beginning of a journey that will shape students for generations. Both new staff members are still building their donor networks — and Louise’s gift provides a vital foundation, a runway for ministry to take root.

A Legacy of Service

InterVarsity has served the University of Delaware since 1945. Louise Little’s legacy ensures that work — and the students and faculty it reaches — will continue to flourish for years to come. Her generosity, offered at the end of a life fully given, is now multiplied in the lives of students she never met but clearly loved.
