Contributing Editor, Journal of Christian Nursing (JCN). JCN's mission is to help students, nurses, and educators practice from a biblically-based, Christian perspective. Margaret combines her nursing, international ministry, and seminary training with her writing, editing, and communication skills to enhance this mission.
Margaret spent over two decades in health work and church planting as a missionary in Haiti and Senegal. She is excited to continue ministry with a global impact through editing work with JCN. Her hope is that through JCN many nurses would be encouraged and grow in following Jesus in both their professional and personal lives. Margaret also desires for JCN to be known for its excellence among professional journals—that the journal would be a light to the world not only in the content that points to hope in Jesus, but also by presenting journal materials with the highest of standards.
Margaret ministers to both authors and readers in her role of preparing a faith-focused professional-level journal. She develops leaders and uses her cross-cultural skills as she works with authors around the world to produce high quality writing to inform, encourage, and challenge the readership of JCN. Margaret’s work is then multiplied as monthly the journal has 12,000 users spanning the globe. Margaret brings her many years of strong teamwork to effectively collaborate with the JCN editorial staff through the various stages of the publishing process.
