Together David and Alissa serve as InterVarsity/Link missionaries to postgraduate students in the United Kingdom.
An InterVarsity alum, Alissa is a cofounder and the former COO of Nomi Network, a New York-based international nonprofit that equips women who are survivors or at risk of human trafficking with leadership, entrepreneurship, and production skills and connects them with socially conscious retailers and ethical product manufacturers. Alissa joined InterVarsity's Graduate & Faculty Ministries in 2018 to serve with David as a Link missionary to postgraduate students at strategic universities in the UK.
David has been part of InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries since 2011. Before moving to England, David served as the team leader for the graduate, law, medical, and international student ministries at New York University. David has earned masters degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary and Duke Divinity School, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Christian Ethics at Oxford University.
